Greetings from St Blazey in Cornwall, England. The village is named after the Church of St Blaise and is here traditionally held to be associated with the wool trade. I was very interested by this site as I have studied St Blaise and have noted his connection with the wolf and St Brigid and his aspect as guardian of the underworld. I believe there are more churches dedicated to St Blaise in England, mainly in the north and are again linked with the wool trade. I hope that this may be of interest to (...)
